Today we are delighted to announce that the Rotary Club of Northwich Vale Royal and Northwich Rotary Club have formally agreed to merge and create a single club under the name: “Rotary Club of Northwich”.
This merger is a celebration of everything our two clubs have achieved over the years, and a bold step towards what we can accomplish together in the future.
“Two proud clubs are joining forces, combining experience, energy and friendship to create a stronger, more dynamic Rotary club for the future. Together, we will achieve more, support our community and continue to put “Service Above Self” at the heart of everything we do”, comments the outgoing president of the Rotary Club of Northwich Vale Royal, John Watson.
Uche Azubuike, the outgoing president of Northwich Rotary Club has stated: Two clubs, one purpose. As Northwich Rotary Club and Rotary Club of Northwich Vale Royal come together, we don’t lose our history; we build on it. The best of what we have each been becomes the foundation for what we will become together.”
The newly formed club will continue to deliver events and community projects, while also expanding its capacity to support more charities and launch new projects that address emerging local and international needs.
The newly elected president, Deborah Egerton stated “This is the start of an exciting new chapter. By bringing our members together, we’re building a stronger club with even more opportunities to make a real difference in our community.”
Today marks an important step in our club’s history, and we can’t wait to create lasting change.
